Programs of Study
The Millikin experience is rich with opportunity and artistic context. Our six degree programs are designed to offer an immersive set of experiences for students seeking a comprehensive education in theatre.
In addition to the intensive focus on individual disciplines, students in the School of Theatre and Dance have opportunities to engage in one or more of our Signature programs. From working with professional writing teams to immersing in international culture, from being part of a student run theatre company to engaging in social entrepreneurship, these unique programs offer our students invaluable Performance Learning opportunities rich in transferrable skills.
New Center for Theatre and Dance
Millikin University will break ground for a new Center for Theatre and Dance in spring 2018 with plans to open the building in fall 2020. The $25 million facility will include a convertible theatre in addition to well-equipped studios, classrooms, design labs, and public spaces for the School of Theatre and Dance. The innovative facility will house all areas of study within the nationally recognized School.
