Millikin University offers two hybrid MBA paths for career success

DECATUR, Ill. – Millikin University is currently accepting applications for its two innovative hybrid Master of Business Administration (MBA) programs: the Evening MBA Program, starting in January (application deadline: December 1), and the Accelerated MBA Program, beginning in June (application deadline: May 1). Both programs are designed to prepare students for executive-level thinking, global engagement, and professional advancement, while catering to different stages of life and career. Additionally, Students can choose from Five Specializations of study designed to help them achieve their career goals.

The Evening MBA offers the same rigorous, Performance Learning-based curriculum in a format that aligns with the busy schedules of working professionals. Students from all industries and backgrounds can complete the 40-credit program in 17 months, through a hybrid model that blends 10 in-person and four online courses. Cohorts average 10–15 students, providing a diverse and supportive professional network.

Millikin’s Accelerated MBA is designed for recent graduates and early-career professionals from all majors. In just 12 months, students complete a 40-credit, hybrid-format program taught by world-class faculty. Cohorts average 15–20 students, creating an intimate, collaborative learning environment where Performance Learning drives professional growth.

MBA Specializations 

In addition to engaging with Millikin University’s forward-thinking core MBA curriculum, students may choose from five specialized areas of study designed to help them achieve their career goals. 

The Artificial Intelligence (AI) specialization equips students with in-demand expertise—no coding required—with professionals in this field earning wages up to 25% higher than their peers. The Business Analytics track prepares students to master modern analytics tools and leverage data to drive organizational growth. In the Cybersecurity specialization, students learn to protect enterprise assets, manage risks, and transform digital challenges into competitive advantages. The Finance track provides the skills to navigate markets with confidence, master innovative financial strategies, and shape the future of business. Finally, the Healthcare Administration specialization allows students to partner with real medical centers, gaining hands-on experience in managing facilities and addressing today’s most pressing healthcare business challenges.

Students completing all required coursework will receive a graduate certificate in their selected area of specialization.
