Dining Hall (Room 002, 003, 021)

The Dining Hall, located in the ground level of the University Commons, can accommodate over 256 occupants and is the main eating area in the UC. This area has a stage and sound system throughout the space, along with lights that can be set according to different events, which makes it an ideal location for large events that require a speaker along with an eating area.

Doug and Diane Oberhelman and Caterpillar, Inc. Leadership Board Room (Room 110)

The Leadership Board Room is located on the lower level of the University Commons. With an occupancy of 14 people, it is an ideal location for formal meetings, presentations and interviews. It holds amenities like task chairs, a phone, TV that has the ability to connect to any technology device, and lights that can be dimmed to add to the intimacy of the room.

Doug and Diane Oberhelman and Caterpillar, Inc. Collaboration A Studio (Room 138)

The Collaboration A studio, located on the first level of the University Commons, boasts an occupancy of 28 people and is an ideal space for meetings, interviews, presentations, and exhibits. With amenities like an overhead projector and an included laptop, internet access, and a white board for drawing, there is not much else needed to bring. This studio also has the capability to be conjoined with Collaboration B studio, to create more space for larger events.

The Collaboration B studio, located on the first level of the University Commons, has an occupancy of 16 and is another ideal space for meetings, interviews, presentations, and exhibits. This room also includes a projector, white board for drawing and an included laptop that is good for presentations, as well as internet access. This room also has the ability to be connected to Collaboration A, which could double the room occupancy of either room or create a space for catering in either room.

The Collaboration C studio, located on the first level of the University Commons, has an occupancy of 16 people and is an ideal space for meetings, interviews, presentations, and exhibits. This room also includes a projector, white board for drawing with an included laptop that is good for presentations, as well as internet access. This room also has the ability to be conjoined with Collaboration D, which could double the room occupancy of either room or create a space for catering in either room.

The Collaboration A studio, located on the first level of the University Commons, boasts an occupancy of 18 people and is an ideal space for meetings, interviews, presentations, and exhibits. With amenities like an overhead projector and an included laptop, internet access, and a white board for drawing, there is not much else needed to bring. This studio also has the capability to be conjoined with Collaboration C studio, to create more space for larger events.

The High Technology Performance Studio, located on the first level of the University Commons, has the occupancy of 16 people. An ideal space for meetings, presentations and exhibits. Has amenities such as 3 TV's that have the ability to connect to any technology device, and a white board.

The Think Tank room, is located on the first level of the University Commons. Boasts an occupancy of 8 people. This is an ideal space for study sessions, with amenities like a wall made out of white board and provided dry erase markers and erasers.

Doug and Diane Oberhelman and Caterpillar, Inc. Center for Leadership Studio (Room 224)

The Oberhelman Leadership Studio holds a capacity of 26 people. Contains amenities such as cozy couches, cushioned chairs, along with cabinets layered with white board. This is an ideal space for student organization meetings, presentations and exhibits.

Media Arts Center (Room 226)

The Media Arts Center is located within the University Commons on the second floor. It serves as a teaching space for classes in departments such as Arts Technology, Art, and English. Read the full description of the room and capabilities at Media Arts Center.

Bob and Debi Johnston Banquet Room A (Room 302)

Ballroom A is located on the third level of the University Commons. Contains a room occupancy of 151 people, which varies depending on the set up. This is an ideal space for banquets, meetings, exhibits, and dances. Holds amenities such as a dry erase board, automatic overhead projector, wireless microphone, with a provided laptop for internet access. This space has the ability to conjoin with Ballroom B to double the room occupancy, and create more space for catering.

Bob and Debi Johnston Banquet Room B (Room 304)

Ballroom B is located on the third level of the University Commons. Contains a room occupancy of 125 people, which varies depending on the set up. This is also an ideal space for banquets, meetings, exhibits, and dances. Holds amenities such as a dry erase board, automatic overhead projector, wireless microphone, with a provided laptop for internet access. This space also has the ability to conjoin with Ballroom A to double the room occupancy, and create more space for catering.

James Millikin Estate President's Dining Room (Room 374)

The President's Dining Room, located on the third level of the University Commons and often abbreviated as PDR, has an occupancy of 20 people and provides a more intimate and formal setting. This room boasts task seating and the lights have the ability to be dimmed to help create the best mood. It also includes a TV that can be shared to any technology device, along with a provided laptop for internet access. The hard wood table and automatic window shading add to the intimacy of the room, without removing any feelings of formality.
