Ronald was born on Aug. 23, 1939, in Fitchburg, Mass., to Lillian (Mascitti) and Albert Cristofono. He graduated from Lowell Tech College and Milliken University with degrees in chemistry, and he was a proud member of the U.S. National Guard in the 1960s.
In May 1959, after graduating from Fitchburg High School, Ronald married Anita (Jacques) Cristofono, and they enjoyed 63 years of marriage. Ronald was a devoted husband and family man. He was a gentleman with a genuinely kind demeanor and easily made friends wherever he traveled. He remembered everyone and never forgot a name. When conversing with him, he always gave his full attention–you felt like you were the most important person in the world. And he had a smile that warmed every heart.
