Robert grew up in Vermont, IL, and attended Springfield High School, graduating class of 1955. He went on to attend Millikin University where he earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing, graduating with Honors. Bob joined the Army Reserve in 1962 and served until 1968. He worked in the marketing department at Osco Drug and was eventually promoted to Head of Advertising. After 45 years with Osco Drug, he retired in 1995.
Bob enjoyed visiting casinos and playing cards—especially blackjack and bridge. Bob had a special appreciation for jazz, dixieland, and folk music. He loved to spend time with his family. Bob will be deeply missed.
