Paula Lane went to be with the Lord on September 29, 2024, surrounded by her family and friends. She leaves behind her beloved mom and her loving partner of 25 years, Cheryl Braden.
Paula was born May 3, 1964, the daughter of Bonnie Landgrebe. She was a graduate of Stephen Decatur High School in 1982. She graduated from Millikin University in 1987 with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education. She was a teacher in the Decatur School District, Jacksonville School District, and finished her teaching career at the Virden School District. She was the Head Girls Basketball Coach at Virden which was the best years of her career. Paula was also co-owner of the Triangle Bar and Grill for 14 years. She also worked at Pathway Services and loved all of them like family.
