DECATUR – Millikin University’s Center for Academic and Professional Performance (CAPP) will host the Spring 2023 Career Fair on Thursday, Feb. 23 from Noon-2:30 p.m. at the Third Floor Banquet Room of the University Commons.
The event is open to all Millikin students and alumni.
More than 50 Central Illinois employers will be on hand, including ADM, the Decatur Police Department, HSHS, Memorial Health System, and several departments from the Illinois State Government, looking for candidates for job and internship positions.
Millikin hosts several campus Career Fairs each year to connect students/alumni and employers. The process of recruiting qualified employees can be costly, time-consuming, and frustrating. Career fairs are an efficient and effective way to screen many candidates in a relatively short period of time.
Millikin’s career fairs allow employers the opportunity to meet qualified and well-prepared Millikin University students and alumni seeking full-time job opportunities, obtain resumes and informally interview or screen candidates.
Millikin students have a 99% success rate of gaining employment or entering graduate or professional school within six months of graduation, compared to the 71% national average.
