Jacqueline Davis Kreker, Class of 1953

Jacqueline Mae Davis Kreker, 93, of Chandler, AZ, and former resident of Lee's Summit, MO, passed away on April 14, 2024 in Chandler, AZ. Jacqueline Kreker was born in Decatur, IL, the daughter of Lyle and Helen Davis on March 28, 1931. She grew up in Decatur, IL, graduating from Decatur High School. Where she received the Daughter's of the American Revolution (D.A.R.) Award for service, leadership and patriotism and recognized for her work at The Observer, delegate to the mock convention and winner of the United Nations contest. She was a graduate of Millikin University, where she was a member of Pi Beta Phi. She married Jon Atkinson Kreker on October 10, 1953, in Decatur, IL. She and Jon moved to Kansas City in 1958, where she worked as an English and Social Studies teacher at Baptiste Junior High.
