DECATUR, Ill. – Millikin University’s Kirkland Fine Arts Center is proud to present Grammy award-winning, mega-hit singing sensations ALL-4-ONE, Saturday, February 3, at 7:30 p.m., live in concert for one night only.
With seven albums and over 20 million records sold, ALL-4-ONE is internationally recognized for their smooth vocals and beautiful harmonies. Their single “I Swear” topped the Billboard Hot 100 for 11 consecutive weeks in 1994 and still holds a spot on Billboard’s Hot 100 as one of the most successful singles of all time.
The American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP) named “I Swear” one of the greatest love songs of the 20th Century. The group followed up this success with “I Can Love You Like That,” which rocketed to the top five in the Billboard Hot 100 soon after. Timeless hits like “So Much in Love,” “I Turn to You,” “These Arms,” “Beautiful as You,” and more, have made ALL-4-ONE one of the most memorable, successful and award-winning singing groups in America.
ALL-4-ONE has won a Grammy, an American Music Award, a Blockbuster Award, and countless international awards. In addition to charting the radio airwaves, their music has been featured in commercials, worldwide music compilations, TV shows, and major motion pictures such as “Despicable Me,” “Just Friends,” “The Social Network,” and others. They have contributed to multiple film soundtracks, including the multi-platinum-selling soundtrack for Walt Disney Pictures’ animated feature film “The Hunchback of Notre Dame,” and the five-time platinum soundtrack for “Space Jam.”
Kirkland Fine Arts Center Director Bryan Diver had this to say about the upcoming performance: “We’re delighted to bring such an influential and timeless group to the Kirkland stage. ALL-4-ONE has few equals in terms of their success, staying power, and overall appeal. Their music has been the soundtrack to many of our best memories, and we look forward to sharing a special night of mesmerizing music with our Central Illinois community.”
Based in California, ALL-4-ONE has toured domestically and internationally, most recently in Tokyo, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Seoul, Bangkok, Shanghai and Sydney, Australia. Members include Jamie Jones, Delious Kennedy, Alfred Nevarez, and Tony Borowiak. Known for their soulful pop ballads and full-bodied R&B arrangements, ALL-4-ONE has been a staple in American music for nearly 30 years. Don’t miss this incredible group live!
