Carolyn was born on December 3, 1928 to Wilmer and Evelyn (Roberts) Frink in Ironton, Ohio. She married Alfred L. Dammann on September 30, 1951 in East St. Louis, Illinois and they had celebrated over 71 years of marriage. Al preceded her in death on March 29, 2023.
Carolyn graduated from Millikin University with a degree as a Licensed Dietician. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Anna.
