Class of 1999, Los Angeles, Jan. 29, 2023
The unexpected passing of Annie Wersching, Class of 1999, shocked many of her friends and fellow artists in the Hollywood creative community, who responded with an outpouring of condolences and remembrances. The actress appeared in numerous television roles, including “Star Trek: Picard,” “24,” “Timeless,” “Bosch,” “Marvel’s Runaways,” “General Hospital” and “The Vampire Diaries.” She also appeared in “The Rookie,” where series producers announced they would dedicate the Feb. 14, 2023, episode to her memory. In addition, Wersching was a lead voice actor in the popular video game, “The Last of Us,” and served as a frequent collaborator with creative team members behind TV’s “24,” “Castle” and “Supernatural.” The actress is survived by her three children and husband, Stephen Full, who attended Millikin in the late 1980s. Stephen noted, “She found wonder in the simplest moment. She didn’t require music to dance. She taught us not to wait for adventure to find you. ‘Go find it. It’s everywhere.’” “The world lost a light today. [Annie Wersching] was one of the greatest actors I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with, and my friend.” — Tweet by “24” Lead Actor Kiefer Sutherland
