Memorial for Diana Faye Kemp Anglin ’89
Diana Faye Anglin 48 of Danville went to meet her maker at 8:02pm. Friday, May 9, 2014, at Carle Foundation Hospital.
On May 5, 1966, this darling baby girl was born to Theodes and Shirley Martin Kemp. She was the youngest girl of four children. Diana was a graduate of Madison High School class of 1984 and graduated from Millikin University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Nursing was her passion. She was driven by the act of helping and caring for others.
She was a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority. She was united in marriage to Keith O. Anglin, April 3, 1993. Diana formerly worked in the rehabilitation department at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, and was formerly employed at the Hawthorne Inn.
She accepted Christ at the age of seven, under the leadership of Rev. Calhoune at Southern Missionary Baptist Church in Madison, IL. Diana loved reading, shopping, traveling, visiting family and attending New Life Church of Faith where she and her family are members. Most of all, she enjoyed taking care of her two beautiful daughters, the highlight of her life.
Diana leaves to cherish her legacy of love, her husband Keith O. Anglin and her daughter’s, Maya and Brittany all of Danville. Two sisters: Conserweller (Edward) Belin of Baton Ruge, LA, and Tammy Kemp of Granite City, IL. A brother, Theodes (Sonja) Kemp Jr. of Shiloh IL, God Sons Bryan Davenport and Robert Gardner Jr. and a host of relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A Celebration of life will commence at noon, Friday, May 16, 2014, at New Life Church of Faith, 1419 N. Bowman Ave. Visitation will be held from 10:45 a.m.-11:45 a.m. Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority rites will begin at 11:45 a.m. until the start of the service. A public viewing will commence from 1 to 5 p.m., Thursday, May 15, 2014, at Leek & Sons Funeral Home 304 E. Williams Street, Danville.
Officiating: Pastor Thomas W. Miller. Interment Spring Hill Cemetery.
