Our programs and hands-on faculty help prepare students for fulfilling careers as professional artists, designers, teachers, art therapists, and also for related careers in museums, businesses, galleries, and more!

Millikin's Art Department offers excellent opportunities for students to grow and develop their artistic talents.  A visit to our campus and a meeting with art faculty will show you exactly why we have the reputation of being one of the best small art schools in the Midwest.

We offer the following degrees: the B.A. degree in Art, and the B.F.A degrees in the following areas Studio Art, Art Therapy, and Graphic Design. Also available in conjunction with  either our B.A. or B.F.A. degrees are an Entrepreneurship Minor through the Tabor School of Business and a Specialist Certificate in Art Education through the School of Education.

Join us for 24 Hours of Art

Over the course of 24 hours, attend an exhibition and reception at Millikin’s student-run Blue Connection Gallery, work with current Art students and faculty in 2-D & 3-D studio art, Art History, Art Therapy, and Graphic Design, and showcase your art in a participant pop-up gallery.
