Applying to the School of Music

Millikin's nationally recognized School of Music brings relevant, performance-based opportunities to all facets of undergraduate music education. With seven distinctive music degree programs and additional certificate options, our students find their path to professional success through a blending of creative, performative, scholarly, and entrepreneurial experiences designed to train the next generation of music professionals.

College of Fine Arts (CFA) Talent Scholarships are offered to students based on their talent and potential contribution to the School of Music. Scholarships for all majors and minors are determined via the audition process. Note: B.A. and B.S. Music Business majors will interview rather than perform an audition.

If you are interested in playing or singing in an ensemble, but not majoring or minoring in music, you may also audition to be considered for a talent scholarship. For more information, please contact the School of Music Audition Coordinator at auditioncoordinator@millikin.edu
