Those interested in ensemble participation, but are not pursuing a major or minor in music, should contact Christina Jones at auditioncoordinator@millikin.edu for information on scholarship opportunities.

If you prefer to audition virtually, you can make that request when filling out the School of Music Application on your myVIP page. You will be required to submit a YouTube link to your performance video to auditioncoordinator@millikin.edu. Once the application is received, you will be contacted to schedule a synchronous Zoom meeting to perform the musical skills evaluation required for your instrument/voice and degree program.
Audition Results
A letter stating the results of your School of Music audition will be sent to your home address approximately 2–3 weeks following your audition date. A separate letter from Student Financial Services summarizing your entire financial aid package (including talent, merit, and/or need-based scholarships) will follow.
School of Music auditions yield a recommendation for a music major commensurate with your career interest and aptitude. The prerequisite musical/technical skills for a major in Performance are the most rigorous.
