Teresa Gulley, MSN, RNC-OB

Professor Teresa Gulley joined Millikin University School of Nursing faculty in 2017. She has over 24 years of experience in Maternal Child Nursing including Labor & Delivery RN, OB Clinical Coordinator, Perinatal Flight Team RN, Perinatal Educator and Director Maternal Child. She was key in implementing several Evidence Based Practice changes including Mother-Baby Nursing, OB staff circulating cesarean deliveries and recovery, and applying Baby Friendly 10 steps to successful breastfeeding. She is certified as an Inpatient OB nurse (RNC-OB).

Additionally, she has over 29 years as a Nurse Corps Officer in the United States Navy Reserves. She has held a variety of positions of progressive leadership including Maternal Child Specialty Leader for United States Navy Reserve, Expeditionary Medical Facility Great Lakes Senior Nurse Executive and Officer in Charge Expeditionary Medical Facility Northern Lights at Global Medic.

Currently she teaches Parent-Child Nursing, Maternal-Newborn Clinical and Application of Theory to Practice.

Professor Gulley obtained her BSN from Mennonite College of Nursing in 1993 and MSN in Nursing System Administration from Mennonite College of Nursing at Illinois State University in 2005.
