Martin Atkins is the definition of entrepreneurial activity in cultural arts endeavors. His 40+ years in the music business span across genres, borders and industries. He was a member of Public Image Ltd and Killing Joke. He founded industrial supergroup Pigface, and has contributed to Nine Inch Nails (for which he has a Grammy) and Ministry. Martin is the owner of The Museum of Post Punk and Industrial Music in Chicago, Invisible Records (est. 1988), the author of three books: Tour:SmartWelcome To The Music Business...You’re F*cked!Band:Smart, and is the Music Industries Co-ordinator at Millikin University in Decatur, Illinois . Martin is a producer, drummer, author, educator, key note speaker, documentary filmmaker, DJ, and father of four.
