Julia began her college admissions career in August 2026 as a first-year admission counselor at Millikin, and she recruits students from the North & Northwest regions of Illinois, plus Peoria and the surrounding counties. One of her favorite parts of working in college admissions is meeting prospective students and their families at college fairs and high schools!
Julia graduated from the University of Denver in 2023 with her Bachelor of Music Performance, and is currently finalizing her degree requirements for her Master of Music Performance from Southern Illinois University Carbondale (anticipated Dec 2026). She plays clarinet, bass clarinet, contrabass clarinet, and has even dabbled in the steel drums during her studies!
Outside of work, Julia enjoys performing live music with her friends, thrift/antique shopping, and exploring new coffee shops during her travels.
