Millikin University's Tabor School of Business, an ACBSP accredited institution, invites applications for a full-time, one-year visiting position at the rank of Assistant Professor of Management, effective August 1, 2025. Qualifications are Ph.D in Management or similar discipline or DBA, plus relevant professional experience. Additional certifications are a plus. Candidates must be fiercely dedicated to teaching, maintain active scholarship and engagement in their field, and engage in service to the university.
Tabor School of Business seeks an individual who is passionate about teaching undergraduate students the theoretical and practical knowledge and skills related to management, human resources, and business in a hands-on learning environment. Areas of teaching include the first-year Business Creation course, Organizational Behavior and Change, and Human Resource Management.
Candidates are expected to embrace a teaching philosophy grounded in experiential learning consistent with an institution that extensively engages both its faculty and students in cooperative ventures with local businesses and organizations. Student advising and mentoring is an important part of teaching. Standard teaching load for full-time faculty is four courses per semester. Candidates will work closely with corporate partners to advance opportunities for our students.
