• Women's History Month

  • Millikin University will celebrate Women’s History Month with a lineup of events spotlighting women’s voices, creativity, leadership and impact across campus and beyond. This year’s theme, “Confronting Challenges, Creating Change,” is reflected in programming that highlights the resilience, innovation and influence of women throughout history and today.

Women’s History Month, recognized nationally each March, honors the lasting contributions of women to society and traces its roots to a weeklong celebration in 1978 that later expanded into a month-long observance by Congress. Millikin’s programming reflects this legacy by centering education, storytelling, creativity and community engagement.
