Amy Marie Mazzotti, Class of 2018

September 4, 1984 - May 16, 2024

Motivating, captivating, next level in all she did. If you knew Amy Mazzotti, you knew the essence of who she was. On May 16, 2024, Amy was taken in a horrific car accident in Palm Harbor, Florida at the prime of her life. Amy was born September 4, 1984, in Binghamton, NY, and died on May 16, 2024, near Lakeland FL. From an early age, Amy exhibited leadership qualities and a drive to facilitate people to be their very best. She graduated from Mt. Zion HS in 2003, and Millikin University in Decatur IL in 2018 with a degree in Organizational Leadership.

Prior to her graduation, she was a Production Team Leader at CAT in Decatur, and graduated from Mr. Johns’ School of Cosmetology in 2008. Her desire to focus on wellness inspired her to create A-Team Boot Camp, which gave countless women a new goal for fitness and whole-body health. In 2017, A-Team was voted the #1 gym in the area in the Herald & Review Reader’s Choice Poll. She also was awarded one of the “20 under 40” for her accomplishments in the Decatur Business Journal.

Her journey continued in Texas, as she became a top IFBB Wellness Athlete and lifestyle coach. In 2022, Amy placed 3rd in the Branch Warren Classic Women’s Wellness 35+. Not to settle for anything less, Amy competed again in 2023 the competition and placed 2nd in the true novice division, and first place in the Master’s competition of 35+. She relocated to Florida late in 2023 to continue her coaching and body-building career and assist with her daughter, Ariya’s athletic pursuits.
