We Are the World
Millikin Symphonic Wind Ensemble premieres “Luminance” by Shuying Li.
Special Guest: David Moore, Cornet Soloist
This MSWE performance will feature music with an international focus that speaks to the global environment that we all share. Included will be the world premiere of “Luminance” by Shuying Li. Li is an award-winning, Chinese-born composer whose works have been performed by major orchestras around the world and who currently serves on the faculty of the Shanghai Conservatory of Music. This premiere, along with other works, will bring a unique perspective to the concert stage.
