Resolution on Race is a community-centered dialogue that brings together students, faculty, staff and local residents to engage in meaningful conversations about race and racism. This event provides a space to listen, share experiences and explore the impact of racial inequities in our society. Through open discussion, storytelling and reflection, participants will confront challenges, highlight diverse perspectives and build understanding across differences. The goal of Resolution on Race is to foster dialogue that leads to greater awareness, stronger community connections, and actionable steps toward equity and inclusion. This event, cohosted by Millikin University and Richland Community College, has a rich history, spanning nearly 20 years.
