The Nick Project is a drive sponsored by an endowed fund by Sophia Schwalbach after losing her brother and former Millikin student, Nick, to a fraternity house fire in the year 2000. During this event, students will receive a complementary carbon dioxide detector, fire ladder and fire extinguisher.
Following the press event, The Nick Project fire safety organization will hold its yearly fire equipment event for Millikin students. Students will receive free fire safety information and be able to pick up free fire extinguishers, fire ladders and smoke detectors.
