The MDSO plays favorites from the string orchestra repertoire: Dvořák’s “Serenade for Strings in E Major,” Op. 44, and “St. Paul’s Suite,” Op. 29, No. 2 by Gustav Holst, among other classic works. International Conductors Workshop and Competition winner Richard Haglund conducts Holst in his MDSO debut.
