Millikin University School of Nursing is excited to present a summer Nursing Boot Camp experience. High school students who are interested in exploring a career in Nursing are invited to attend a three-day camp experience on Millikin’s campus. During the boot camp, students will learn about basic nursing skills, and roles and responsibilities of the professional nurse.
Students will also participate in patient simulations, take a first aid course and get a glimpse of life as a Millikin University Nursing student. Area nursing leaders and Millikin alumni will speak about their experiences in the profession of nursing. Representatives from the University will provide information and answer questions about admission and financial aid.
An Admission and Financial Aid Information Session will take place on Tuesday, July 15 at 3 p.m. for campers and parents/supporters to learn about the Millikin University's School of Nursing admission process as well as scholarship and financial aid opportunities.
