The facility underwent major renovations in 2014 as a part of Millikin’s Transform MU capital campaign. A new artificial turf playing field was installed along with a refurbished track surface. Lights and new scoreboard including a giant video board were added.
The stadium seats 4,000, including seating on the west side of the stadium. Lindsay Field also includes a press box and a concession stand and restrooms under the southwest corner of the grandstand.
The 8-lane, all-weather track and field events area can host track meets of any size.
