2026 Vocal Festival: September 20-21
Vocal Festival is an opportunity for educators and students (sophomores, juniors and seniors) to gather for a unique two-day vocal event combining concerts, workshops, voice lessons, and a festival choir experience, interacting with Millikin vocal staff and choral colleagues.

The nomination process ensures an equally balanced choir of similar ability making the festival the best possible experience for all.
AUDITION FOR MILLIKIN'S SCHOOL OF MUSIC
Seniors interested in Millikin University as a possible college choice may use their Vocal Coaching Session as a scholarship audition. Music majors may audition for acceptance into the School of Music. Those pursuing a different major may audition for a talent award to sing in one of the Millikin Choirs.
SOLO COMPETITION
Students who have memorized their song for the Vocal Coaching Sessions AND Seniors who have auditioned for the School of Music are automatically considered for the solo competition. Semi-finalists will be asked to sing a second time for a panel of judges. Finalists will receive a cash award and will sing on Monday evening's Grand Finale Concert.
