On May 18, 2018 Millikin University broke ground on the New Center for Theatre and Dance. The $29 million facility includes a 250 seat courtyard-style theatre, dance and acting studios to support classes, productions and informal performances, classrooms, well-equipped design labs, a costume studio, a script library, collaboration spaces, and public spaces for the School of Theatre and Dance and the visiting public. The innovative facility will house all areas of study within the nationally recognized School.
