Meet the Chapter

The Kaptivating Kappa Zeta Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated was chartered June 1, 1973, at Millikin University by the hard work of nine devoted African American women. The women wanted to reclaim their voice and the voice of the Black community at this predominately white institution. Kappa Zeta has been implementing meaningful programs and providing opportunities to enrich lives all over campus for 51 years. Kappa Zeta is the oldest Black Greek Letter Sorority on campus and has been the recipient of various awards of Excellence on Millikin’s campus and the Mighty Midwest Region.
