Brass Day

Brass Day is a comprehensive, one-day festival for intermediate to advanced brass players in grades 9-12.

Events for participants include breakout masterclasses with Millikin University Brass Faculty, participant Brass Ensemble rehearsals, jazz improvisation workshop, audio recording session at Millitrax Recording Studio, and performances by Millikin Brass Students and Faculty, and the Millikin Faculty Jazz Combo. Students will perform in the closing concert alongside Faculty in the participant Brass Day Brass Ensemble.

Music educators in attendance can receive professional development certificates in Brass Pedagogy, Jazz Improvisation and Audio Recording.

$20 Due by February 3, 2020 

$25 if received after February 3, 2020 or on-site

No refunds

T-shirts are only guaranteed for those that register and submit payment by February 3, 2020. Registration fee covers Brass Day t-shirt and lunch in the University Commons.
