Reduced Tuition + Scholarships
Up to Four Years. Guaranteed.

Millikin University is pleased to offer the Macon Promise, a reduced tuition rate of $26,000 for local students. This annual rate represents a 33% discount from the current tuition cost and is locked in for up to four years for incoming undergraduate students.

Students will also receive additional scholarships and aid, including a Merit Scholarship of up to $10,000, based on their application for admission to Millikin and the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (www.fafsa.gov). Our Macon Promise tuition rate is comparable to in-state colleges, with all the added benefits of a small, private education.

Who is eligible for the reduced tuition:

  • Any student who lives in Macon County
  • Students who previously attended or currently attend a Macon County high School (Includes Central A&M and Cerro Gordo high schools)
  • Students transferring from Richland Community College
