Sandra Coryell received the Bachelor of Music degree and the Master of Fine Arts degree in Piano Performance and Pedagogy from the University of Iowa in 1974 and 1977. In 1977, she joined the Millikin University Preparatory Department. She also taught in the university class piano program for thirteen years. She serves as treasurer for the Decatur Area Music Teachers Association.
