Why am I proud to represent MU?

Millikin gave me many opportunities to find myself, lead, learn and dwell with others through a unique college experience. I became a better person because of the staff, students and culture at MU. I am excited to share my experiences as well as the new

ones created by current students.

Why did I decide to work in this field and/or at Millikin?

I believe helping others and lifting each other up is what life is all about! I thoroughly enjoy working with new students and families through the admission process/finding their fit.

Words I use to describe Millikin students:

Connected, Curious, Courageous

Advice for students/applicants:

Go in with an open mind and figure out what you want your college experience to be. What are your non-negotiables and what is your “Why?” Make sure to visit a few times to really see yourself there!

What do I enjoy doing outside of work?

I enjoy volunteering, reading, creating art, spending time with family and shopping local. Decatur is home to a TON of entertainment, food/shops, recreation activities and more! There is always something fun to try.

What is my favorite:

Food/Drink: Sushi

TV Show/Movie: SNL, Hunter x Hunter

Music: I like a little of everything, but Prince is top 3.

Book: The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks

Thing about Millikin: Connectedness

Place on Campus: Printmaking Studio or the northeast corridor of

Perkinson Music Center (lots of sunlight!)

Place in Decatur: Any of Decatur’s Park/recreation facilities, especially Fairview Park or Rock Springs trails!

Time/Tradition of the Millikin School Year: New Student Welcome Week, Graduation and the Cookie Party!

Fun facts about me:

» I am the oldest of seven.

» I love to bake.
