Student Financial Services Chilwana Thompson

Chilwana Thompson has worked in financial aid and billing for over 16 years. She worked in financial aid and Student Financial Services in various positions including, receptionist, student service center representative and financial aid counselor. Chilwana assumed the Assistant Director of Student Financial Services in 2013. She has been a member of the Illinois State Association of Financial Aid Administrators since 2007. She has played an active role by co-chairing several committees and securing elected positions such as Southern Regional Coordinator, Treasurer Elect and Treasurer for the 1819 year. Chilwana was chosen to participate in the MASFAA (Midwest Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators) leadership symposium in 2015. She attended the NASFAA (National Association of Financial Aid Administrators) leadership conference in 2017. Chilwana received her B.A. in History from Millikin University.
