Millikin Community Arts Academy Aidan Hart

MBA Graduate Assistant

Col. Aidan Hart graduated from Millikin University with a Bachelor of Music in Music Business and Commercial Music and is from New Lenox, Illinois. Coming from a family of music lovers, his great-grandmother sang traditional pop and country tunes. She played guitar, gigging in Wisconsin bars throughout the Great Depression, even singing on a record sent to her husband overseas during World War II.

Some highlights in Aidan’s musical endeavors include performing alongside Belgium’s Four Aces Guitar Quartet in the MAGEF Guitar Orchestra at the 26th Annual Mid-America Guitar Ensemble Festival, playing bass in a big band at various jazz festivals in the Midwest, playing late rock legend Jerry Lee Lewis’s piano at his Mississippi ranch, and various concerts with the Millikin Classical Guitar Ensemble and Lincoln-Way Guitar Studio. In addition, Aidan was commissioned the honorary title of “Colonel,” the highest title of honor bestowed by the Commonwealth of Kentucky, by Governor Andy Beshear for his contributions to preserving the legacies of commercial music icons in history into the Digital Age (2021).
