Sharon Lucile Fotzler, a long-time Monticello resident, went home to be with the Lord on December 12, 2023. She was born January 27, 1944, in Rockford, Illinois, and was the only child of Fred and Lucile Fotzler, who both preceded her in death. She remained a faithful Christian for her entire life and had been a member of Faith Lutheran Church.
Sharon graduated from Millikin University and prospered with a long career in the field of accounting. Throughout her life, she lovingly cared for many cats and dogs. Sharon, as a caring and endearing woman, will be missed by her family and friends.
