Robert was born on November 20, 1950, in Niles, OH, to the late Martin and Leola Manson Henry Jr. Robert was a 1969 graduate of Niles McKinley High School. In 1974 he received his bachelor's degree at Millikin University in Decatur IL in pre-law. He worked as a claims adjuster for various companies throughout the United States. He was a decorated hall of fame running back at Millikin University. He was a member of Valley Baptist Church in Niles. Robert liked cooking, playing cards and tennis.
