DECATUR, Ill. – Millikin University students and alumni explored their career opportunities on Wednesday at the Spring 2025 Career & Internship Fair in the University Commons.

More than 30 employers filled the University Commons in two locations—the Debra Breeding Johnston '89 and Robert C. Johnston Banquet Rooms on the third floor and the Doub & Diane Oberhelman Center for Leadership Performance on the first floor—as they searched for top-tier applicants for their open positions.

Companies and organizations from various specialties, including the Decatur Police Department, SIU Medicine, Illinois Department of Revenue, and Peace Corps, were in attendance.

Prior to the event, those looking for employment and internships this spring and summer had two events to help their job search at the Dress to Impress and a Prep Session to make the informal interview a little easier.

At the Dress to Impress event, Millikin students could pick out a free outfit to give them the confidence to succeed in their job search.

The Prep Session provided helpful tips to students on the job interview process, such as making eye contact, preparing for interview questions, and researching the company you're interested in.
