Leslie Kae Nailer, 36, of Decatur, Illinois, passed away unexpectedly on July 22, 2024.
Leslie was born on March 7, 1988 in Decatur, IL to Matt Nailer and Kimberly (Dixon) Nailer. Leslie was a Registered Nurse and received her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from Millikin University. She worked as an ED nurse and house supervisor at St. Mary’s and most recently in the cath lab at DMH.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 30, 2024 from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home in Decatur, IL. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 31, 2024 at 10:30 AM at Brintlinger and Earl funeral home, with one hour visitation prior to service.
Leslie most enjoyed spending time with her family and her friends, caring for and helping others, cooking, and was an avid hunter of deer, turkey and pheasant with her Dad. She also loved to read, had an amazing green thumb, and looked forward to vacations and continued travels.
