Fast-Track MBA Program

Millikin University's Tabor School of Business has announced a new addition to its Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree program offerings with the launch of a Fast-Track MBA. Tabor's Fast-Track MBA degree program is a 12-month, full-time, day program designed for students who want to gain executive-level business knowledge and critical thinking skills. The program is now enrolling for the Fall 2015 semester.

The Fast-Track MBA program will show ambitious young graduates how to stand out in the marketplace by opening doors and creating important networking opportunities. The program includes executive lectures from Fortune 500 companies, and opportunities to learn from experienced C-suite executives in the classroom. The program is open to business and non-business students who have earned a bachelor's degree.

"We are very excited to offer this new Fast-Track MBA program at Millikin University," said Dr. Anthony Liberatore, Millikin director of MBA. "The program positions students for success through pillars of courses linked together to set a solid foundation and build analytical capabilities."

The pillars of courses within the accelerated program include:

Accounting & Finance
The Accounting & Finance pillar provides the high-level knowledge and range of skills needed to meet the challenges of today's complex global business. Subjects of study include Financial Accounting for Managers & Executives, Concepts for Financial Decisions, Case Studies in Finance, and Stock & Financial Markets.

Management & Leadership
The Management & Leadership pillar takes students through the tools and techniques for managing people, processes, and projects. Emphasis will be placed on practical skills including the use of lean and six-sigma techniques.

Marketing & Strategy
Used for positioning an enterprise relative to competition and customers, the Marketing & Strategy pillar covers Digital Media Marketing, Marketing Strategy & Analysis, and Globalization.

"The faculty in Millikin's Tabor School of Business are always looking for ways to improve the outstanding opportunities they offer students who want to prepare for successful careers in the world of business," said Millikin Provost Dr. Jeffery Aper. "The new Fast-Track MBA program is one of the new developments that builds on the success and excellence of the long-standing Executive MBA program. This new version of the MBA program allows students to complete the degree at a faster pace but maintains all of the rigor and quality of the original program. It's one more way in which Millikin is opening doors to help people achieve their full potential as professionals and as human beings who want to live lives of meaning and value."

The application deadline for the Fast-Track MBA program is April 15, 2015. Applicants must have an undergraduate degree from an accredited U.S. or international institution. Prospective students may complete the application for admission at millikin.edu/apply.

Tuition for the program is $750 per credit hour. Financial aid is available. On-campus housing is also available for all students.
