Jana’s professional credits include Kansas City Repertory Theatre, Kansas City Ballet, St. Louis MUNY, Starlight Theatre, The Lyric Opera, The Coterie Theatre, The Unicorn Theatre, Kansas City Renaissance Festival, Maples Repertory Theatre, Little Theatre on the Square and the Station Theatre.  She also taught and designed for the Leysin American School in Leysin, Switzerland.  Jana has experience in hair and makeup design for television and has worked as a key costumer for Universal Films.

Jana’s professional development includes FileMaker software, and she is currently working with 3D scanning and printing applications in theatre. Her research interests include the work of designer Madeline Vionnet and dye techniques of India and Pakistan.  Jana has also led travel immersion courses to Ireland, England, France, Switzerland, Italy and Disney World. Jana regularly presents at USITT conferences and serves in several leadership positions within the organization.
