Christine Smith has a Masters Degree in Early Childhood Music Education from the Hartt School of Music, where she studied with early childhood music expert John Feierabend. She has taught music in public and parochial schools and in the university setting for the past 28 years. Currently she teaches vocal music at Maroa Forsyth Grade School, is the president of CILKE (Central Illinois Kodály Educators), and performs with both the community choir Opus 24 and the Millikin Decatur Symphony Orchestra. She is also the Music Director for the Millikin Children's Choir Program and within that program directs the Dolce Choir.
