Carrie Pierson, Senior Director of the Center for Academic and Professional Performance (CAPP), came to Millikin University in 2007.   She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Special Education, a Master’s degree in Curriculum, Instruction & Assessment, and is certified to teach students with learning disabilities.  Ms. Pierson leads the CAPP team, provides advising services to Exploratory, Transitional, and Probation students,  teaches Academic Strategies for Success, as well as supports Career Coaching efforts on campus.  In addition, Ms. Pierson supports students with documented disabilities and assists them in making a successful transition to college.  Carrie is located in Staley Library 14-B.  You can contact her at 217-424-3999 or cpierson@millikin.edu.
