ILMEA ALL-STATE STRING CLINIC 2022

This free event will take place on Saturday, October 1, 2022 from 12:00 - 4:00 p.m.

High school violin, viola, cello, and bass students are invited to a free clinic hosted by the string faculty of Millikin University including Ion-Alexandru Malaimare, Concertmaster of the Millikin-Decatur Symphony Orchestra, Sharon Chung, principal violist of the Millikin-Decatur Symphony Orchestra, Amy Catron, principal cellist of the Millikin-Decatur Symphony Orchestra, Margaret Briskin, acting principal bass of the Millikin-Decatur Symphony Orchestra and William McClain Music Director and Conductor of the MDSO.

1:00 - 1:30pm: Q & A with a panel of Millikin Orchestra students and Office of Admissions

1:30 - 3:00pm: Strings Clinics with Millikin Faculty

3:00 - 4:00 pm: Final Performance with members of the Millikin-Decatur Symphony Orchestra
