Millikin University's Student Housing Council (SHC) hosted its annual Halloween in the Halls event on Oct. 25.
Halloween in the Halls provides a safe, family-friendly environment for youngsters from the local community to go trick-or-treating on the campus of Millikin University via a guided tour through campus.
The event is limited to children ages 2-14 and families can take either the "scary" or "non-scary" tour routes.
Sophomore Donna Bull, a music education instrumental major from Anna, Texas, and the residence hall event coordinator for Student Housing Council, said planning for the Halloween treat had gone on for more than two months. She said it was a gift from the students to the community and everybody involved enjoyed the experience.
"The students put a lot of work into decorating the halls and it's a good time," said Bull.
