Vespers 60th Anniversary CD features 32-page booklet

Vespers is one of Millikin University's most popular events. It signals the beginning of the holiday season with a sumptuous evening of carols, choirs and candlelight. During the event, over 250 musicians join together in Kirkland Fine Arts Center for a joyous musical feast with songs from past centuries combined with familiar carols and arrangements.

Dr. Victoria Bam brings global health perspective to the classroom

Teams of Millikin University students are gathered in a classroom on the 1st floor of the Leighty-Tabor Science Center trying to find solutions for health-related issues on a global scale. As the teams huddle to discuss their solutions, Dr. Victoria Bam can only watch and admire the effort her students are putting into the project.

Joel Kim Booster '10 featured in new NBC sitcom

Millikin University graduate Joel Kim Booster '10 has become one of the hottest entertainers and stand-up comedians in Hollywood today. A Chicago-bred, Los Angeles-based comedian and writer, Booster has appeared on Conan, Comedy Central's "The Meltdown with Jonah and Kumail," This Is Not Happening and @midnight, Logo's "Comedy Cabaret" and truTV's "Comedy Knockout."

Millikin sees four percent increase in first-year students from fall 2018 

On Monday, Aug. 26, Millikin University started the first day of the 2019-20 academic year with its largest first-year class in seven years. Millikin welcomed 490 first-year students to campus to begin the fall 2019 semester, a four percent increase in first-year students from fall 2018 when it enrolled 468 first-year students.

The 490 first-year class is the largest since 2012.
