The Pirates of Penzance

The Pirates of Penzance

Book and Lyrics by Sir William Schwenck Gilbert

Music by Sir Arthur Seymour Sulllivan

with Millikin Chamber Orchestra & Opera Theatre

In this new imagining of Gilbert and Sullivan's classic operetta, 'The Pirates of Penzance', our 'pirates' are members of a 50's biker-gang and are rebels without a cause. All of that changes when a young pirate apprentice meets the sorority girl of his dreams. This production is a collaboration between Millikin Opera Theatre, the Millikin Chamber Orchestra, and Millikin's School of Theatre and Dance.
