Mr. Burns, a post-electric play

By Anne Washburn
Score by Michael Friedman
Lyrics by Anne Washburn

Over a period of 75 years after the apocalypse, the story of “Cape Fear” as told by the TV show The Simpsons evolves from a pop culture icon to mythology in this darkly comic examination of man’s instinct to survive and the role live performance plays in a post-apocalyptic recovery.
