Anna Corvera

Director/Choreographer

Anna Corvera is from St. Louis, MO. She earned a BFA and MFA in Dance from the University of Illinois and The College at Brockport, respectively. For Casper College she choreographed CATS, Pippin, Urinetown, and Lysistrata (An Ad-rap-tation). For the Wyoming Symphony Orchestra she choreographed L’Histoire du Soldat. For Theatre of the Poor she choreographed The Waste Land. For the Decatur Park District she choreographed Singin’ in the Rain Jr. She has also choreographed for Coca Cola, Atlantic Records, Dança Nova Dance Company, and the Brockport Symphony Orchestra. At Millikin University, she has choreographed Heathers: The Musical, 9 to 5: The Musical, and “Chart Hits” for Mr. Burns, a post-electric play.

 

Sean Morrissey

Director/Choreographer

Sean T. Morrissey was the recipient of the Times Newspaper’s Outstanding Choreography award for his work on the Porthouse Theatre production of Dames at Sea and the Connecticut Critics Circle Best Choreographer Award for his work on the Candlewood Playhouse production of West Side Story. As a director/choreographer, Sean’s work includes Sweet Smell of SuccessLucky Stiff, Sweet Charity, Me and My Girl, No No Nanette, SugarDamn Yankees, Guys and Dolls, My Favorite Year, Kiss Me Kate, Drowsy Chaperone, The World Goes Round, and Grand Hotel. Other choreography credits include Carousel, The Merry Widow, Brigadoon, Pippin, Pump Boys and Dinettes, and Cabaret. In addition to musicals, Sean has choreographed 21 concert works for the Millikin stage. As a performer, Sean appeared in the original Broadway cast of the Alan Menken and Lynn Ahrens production of A Christmas Carol featuring choreography by Tony Award winner, Susan Stroman, the European tour of 42nd Street, the Vienna company of West Side Story, the Asian tour of South Pacific, and regional productions of Cabaret, Me and My Girl, Big River, Anything Goes, Singin’ In the Rain, Oklahoma!, and Gypsy. Sean is a graduate of Syracuse University and a proud member of Actors Equity Association and SAG/AFTRA. 

 

 

 

Matthew Albrecht

Matt Albrecht is a lighting designer from Madison, WI. Matt has had the opportunity to work in theaters across the United States. Some of his design highlights include The Greeks (Madison Repertory Theatre), The Water Engine (University Theatre), Into the Woods (Houston's Center Stage Theatre), The Temperamentals (Celebration Theatre), and Annie (Madison Theatre Guild). Matt has also had the opportunity to work with Peninsula Players in Door County, WI.

 

 

 

Caroline Knese

Caroline’s previous design credits include Wintertime, Umbrella Escapades, and “Chicken and Noodles” featured in Solstice: A Concert of Dance. Her other work includes stitching at Illinois Shakespeare Festival’s 40th season and working as costume crafts artisan on Millikin University’s production of Phantom of the Opera.

 

 

 

Alaina Pizzoferrato

“¡Olé!” and “My Front Page” Lighting Design

Last year, Alaina had the opportunity to work on HEADSHOT! and Nice Work If You Can Get It for the Millikin Mainstage, and the Millikin Children’s Show Super Sidekick the Musical. Her most recent work was Assistant Lighting Designer and Projections Master for The Phantom of the Opera on the Millikin Mainstage. Other shows she has worked on in the past four years include Fiddler on the Roof, Aladdin, Mary Poppins, The Wizard of Oz, Guys and Dolls, Peter Pan, Annie, Seussical the Musical, The Comedy of Errors, and Arsenic and Old Lace.

"Pacing" Lighting Design

Sydney has most recently been the lighting designer for LIZZIE at Pipe Dreams Studio Theatre, As You Like It on the Millikin Mainstage, multiple Dance Concerts, and has been an electrician for many other Millikin productions. She is excited to be lighting once again and hopes you enjoy the show!

 

 

Erin Cowger

This is Erin's second collegiate design experience. Her most previous work at Millikin was Lighting Designer for the dance piece “Disappearing Wonder” in Solstice: A Concert of Dance. Her past credits include Lighting Design for Beauty and the Beast, Moon Over Buffalo, Clovis High School Dance Concert, and Piece by Piece Dance Concert (Designer for the piece "Married Life").

Elizabeth Pillow is a senior BFA Stage Management major from Evansville, Indiana. Previous credits include Mauritius, Nice Work if You Can Get It, The Undeniable Sound of Right NowBuyer & Cellar, and Phantom of the Opera. She has also served as the Company Manager for the New Musicals Workshop for the past two years. Aside from the Millikin Mainstage, Pillow is the current Production Manager of Pipe Dreams Studio Theatre. After graduation, she will be working as the Production Management Intern at Baltimore Center Stage.

She was most recently the Assistant Stage Manager for 9 to 5 The Musical on the Millikin Mainstage.

Darius Lee currently serves as a guest artist for ViShun Movement. At Manhattan Theatre Productions’, Cassidy’s credits include the concert production of Parade. At Open Space Cafe Theatre, Cassidy’s credits include Mimi Marquez in RENT. At Greensboro Day School, Cassidy’s credits include Wednesday Addams in The Addams Family, The Chaperone in Drowsy Chaperone, Aphrodite in Metamorphosis, and Mitzi in Crazy For You. Ellis is incredibly excited to be making her debut with Millikin University Theatre. Her recent credits include the role of the Bird Woman and company member in Mary Poppins and the role of Cinderella in Into the Woods, both with the drama department at Wheaton North High School. She has been studying dance for over 15 years, including styles ballet, jazz, contemporary/lyrical, hip-hop, and tap. She has studied with Faubourg Ballet School, SoleUnique Dance Complex, SoleUnique Dance Company, and Moves Dance Studio.
